welcome!

On March 6th, 2015, I got engaged [to a very wonderful man]. From that point on, I basically experienced a wonderful/stressful/crazy avalanche of adulty things. I graduated nursing school, got a big girl job, became a homeowner, got married (!!), adopted a SECOND dog, and (obviously) had a bunch of celebratory champagne. That's the really short version. The past two-ish years have also been filled with plenty of planning, celebrating others' aldulty accomplishments, decorating, crafting, remodeling, shopping, cooking, dieting, (not dieting), and the list goes on. I recently found myself inspired to share my experiences (and crafts and recipes and travels and stuff) on more of a detailed platform, so, here you have it - welcome to my blog!

Before I go on posting all these things I have swirling around in my head, I should probably tell you a little about myself. As you can probably [not] tell by the blog title I thought was clever, my name is Alexa! I'm a nurse, newlywed, dog mom, and I live in Florida. I'm a little crafty and I love beauty and fashion. I'm a fan of health and fitness - I'm always trying new things here and there - but I also really like fun food and couch potato-ing. On this blog, you can expect to find (hopefully) useful and fun day-to-day stuff, most likely related to the aforementioned things about me. You can also expect many lists and parenthetical side notes.. as you can see. I really hope to make this a place than anyone can come to for some regular ol' daily life inspiration!
